Full ceramic sleeve bearings of ZrO2 zirconia ceramic in accordance with DIN 4379 (DIN 1850-1) as the bushing as shown in the drawing. Zirconia ceramic ZrO2 is through a thermal length extension such as steel especially needed for composite components (ceramic/steel; Steel/ceramics).
Three different basic ceramics are used for journal bearings concepts. Our standard sizes can be found here. We manufacture to DIN 1850; tolerances are to DIN ISO 2768-1. The edges are usually rounded or chamfered. For special applications we manufacture to a surface finish of Ra 0,2µm. All these bearings have high corrosion and chemical resistance.
