Massive friction-type bearing of SiC-Silicon carbide ceramic (DIN 4379; DIN 1850-1) as a slide bushing concerning customer´s drawing.
Silicon carbide (SiC), also belongs to the group of non-oxide ceramics. Compounds such as Si3N4 are extremely hard, offer good heat conductivity, are relatively light with excellent thermal shock resistant properties and have a maximum working temperature up to 1800°C.
